I had one an it had no magic for me. It was ok but I sold it pretty quickly. The phono preamp was good but I would not buy another one
For a flip, $50 is as much as you can spend. For a keeper, lots of better options
I just paid $100 for an elac 50h turntable and an sx 880. I love that receiver

i'm gonna go look at it on saturday. i am planning on taking my ipod and an rca cable to test the inputs. how can i test the phono input without a turntable? what other checks do you guys recommend?
