Anyone have or know of a source for a replacement dial pointer for a Pioneer SX-838? Pioneer part number is AAF-031-A and is also used on the SX-939 and SX-1010. Nothing currently on fleabay.

is yours broken? if so do you have the needle? if you do ive fixed them with superglue

No this one is missing the pointer. I made him a makeshift replacement using clear PVC. Hopefully it will holdup until one shows up on ebay.

I too am looking for a new SX-838 pointer. I'm of the opinion that the plastic pointer bit (only) from the SX-737 to SX-434 may fit into the SX-838 metal holder. I've been watching for a donor unit to try. If anyone has tried this or can circulate pictures & measurements of both it would be good to know. Thanks
