Tandberg 64

Does anyone know how to take off the pinch roller on a Tandberg 64? The one on mine is completely worn out.

Hi,

You likely need to find a service manual for information on this. You can get your pinch roller rebuilt or get one off of a later model (Tandberg used the same roller for many years). Ingrid has a service manual for the 62 and 64, but it's in Norwegian! The Tandberg 64 is our favorite tape machine in the Tandberg line. The 62 is the 2-track Stereo version of the 64.
