Tandberg 64

[Digiverse]

Hi, I know I have another post similar, but no-one is answering, so I am starting another for only this brand/model, I wish to play Beatles mono 3/34 twin tape, will the Tandberg 64 allow me to do that ? Thanks. Groovetube.

The Tandberg 64 is a four-track machine, so no. I'm not sure which Tandberg you would be looking for to play those, maybe a 5?

A Tandberg 64 (or 64x) is a quartertrack deck, but if you depress the Playback1 button alone, you should be able to play a old mono halftrack recorded tape

If the other playback button is depresses as well you would hear the "back side" of tape, playing backwards and at reduced volume

Interesting. I've never noticed that button on the beat-up example in my junk pile. Learn something interesting every day!
