Tandberg receiver knobs removal?

Hi,
I have a Tandberg tr2025 with knobs Id like to take off and give a good cleaning. Each knob has a hole for Im guessing a small allen wrench, but Im not sure. Could someone tell me how to remove them? Thanks!

Ok I got them off, using a 1.5 mm allen wrench.

My TR2025 has knobs without a hole in. I can pull off Volume, Balance, Bass, Treble and Tuning Knob without tools.
But anyway, there are normally grub screws with Allen Wrench in - less often those with slotted screws.

Thanks for the response. I believe there were two styles of knobs used on tr2025's at different times.

The difference is most noticeable to me on the tuning knob.

You're absolutely right. I've just checked pictures of my second - already sold - 2025. This unit also had the knobs with the grub screws.

Correct, same for other models in that series. The earlier production used set screws, the later have push-on knobs with plastic innards. Same external shape & finish, but the originals are solid metal & have the screws.
