Tandburg 2080 restoration problems

Oxidation is a chronic problem with older Tandbergs on all of the inter-board connectors and their ilk. If you're having inexplicable trouble with the 25V supply pull the three pin connector off the Q603 pass transistor and clean the pins of the transistor and the sockets in the connector with a rubber eraser ( they slide out when you depress the release tab in the side of the socket ).
