Tape Deck Pinch Rollers

I need a fluid that will clean the rubber pinch roller on my cassette deck without drying or damaging the rubber. Any recommendations?

Use lighter fluid (naptha) until all brown has been removed & the marks on the wipe are black.

Denatured alcohol (Methanol) has been recommended for cleaning pinch rollers (removes surface deposits). Naphtha VM&P has been recommended for reconditioning pinch rollers (softens and removes rubber).

99% ISO is all I have ever used for that. Something different for rejuvenation.

Copy repair folks use a rejuvenator on copiers for all the rubber bits, not sure what it's called.
