I have a pair of studio 1 speakers from new. the top end is gone very dull, or it may be my ears what would be a suitable replacement tweeter for these speakers something brighter may suit my hearing !

If both have gone dull gradually (vs an incident where you might have blown them), you may want to see if the ferrofluid just needs to be replaced. I had a pair of Studio 0.5’s and replaced the ferrofluid myself. Wasn’t hard. Just have to clean out the old with strips of paper and put in the new.

ELAC supplied the drivers for the Studio 1.
According to the ELAC sheet I have, the original tweeter has an aluminium dome, 90db sensitivity and its resonant frequency was 650Hz.
Much as I like Audax tweeters I don't think I'd use a TW025A1-12x9.
If you're in the US, I'd call Madisound and ask for their suggestion.
If you're in the UK, I'd call Wilmslow.
