You could buy "new" up till around 2010. Most of those are gone it would be luck or chance to find one new. On eBay they are on there all the time in a wide range of condition, you just have to be persistent in your search and be ready to buy when it comes up. Don't know of any service that does a Refurbish on these there however, there are individuals who do vintage electronic restoration on the side. I would be wary of really modified unit from DJs ie. unusual platter mats, new paint schemes or modified tone arms etc.

Preowned SL-1200Mk2 sell roughly for $300-$600 range. If your looking for mint, near mint condition with box accessories I'd figure on paying about $750 and they will not need refurbishing. Prices vary with what neck of the woods you are in. KABUSA is the best for parts and service.
