What is a Technics SU-G90 worth?
Rated either 100 or 130 WPC, black plastic, but not crap.

I hate to disparage audio gear, but when I see "super bass" and "Digital Delayed Surround", I'd have to agree with lguise. Not that it couldn't be enjoyable by most people, but I doubt it even classifies as mid-fi in my book. Please don't take it the wrong way, I am not trying to be an audio snob, but if you're looking for hi-fi, I really would look elsewhere. If you want a cheap party system or the foundation for a workshop system.. go for it.

Yeah, yeah, I know.
But it puts out, despite the apparent lack of quality with the megabass etc.
Oh well.

I already own this, but I just want to know what it is worth.
I paid next to nothing for this.

I had the SU-G91 for a bit. It was rated at 130 per channel.

It did put out the power advertised, but to me there was a big difference in the audio quality between it and other gear I have. I'm not sure how old that line is, so it could possibly have been in the need of a re-cap as the bass was not very present in listening. The high end seemed a little clipped as well. Just a little "flat" overall.

But in any case, could've been the particular unit I had... I do feel it got beat easily with the other amps tho - The Sansui A-1200 I have, for example.

Sorry that I can't tell you what it's worth, but for what it's worth - I own/ed some Technics (non turntable) items and I've almost always been impressed by their quality (sound and build). I owned a "New Class A" receiver quite a few years ago that I really enjoyed and recently acquired an integrated (SU-8077) that looks to be roughly in the same time period as yours pictured, that is late 70's early 80's.
Sadly you won't get a lot of love for these pieces, so keep it and enjoy it if you like it. I recently gave my Niece an H/K 430 recently that probably wouldn't have fetched $40 -$50 on ebay, but it's a great receiver sound-wise (she absolutely loves it).
