I like King Curtis from the little Jazz, and moreso Soul/R&B stuff I've heard. But did you see the Charlie Parker movie? If I remember correctly, the character that gave him such a hard time was supposedly patterned after KC.

I have not seen a movie about Charlie Parker. If you remember the title let me know. Have you ever used Hoopla. You might have seen me mention it. I see most of the titles are Soul\R&B. Soul Meeting is there though.
