Got it. Thanks for the correction, I went with the verbal announcement, not the spelling. Also, for those who never went back that far on the Klipsch forum, I designed and built the Quarter Pies, which was built by others all over the world (maybe 6 people?) I have no way of knowing. But I also named my Super Heresy Mods after DaveInTn's sMAHLs to differentiate from stock, which I'm sure they didn't like. Oh, and DaveInTn was crazy enough to go the opposite end and built the Super MWM's I designed for him. Gotta have the low end too, aye?
I just designed a Super Quarter Pie that you can stand up vertically that will perform as well as DaveInTn's Super MWM, both flat to 32 Hz. and useable down to 26 Hz. with one 15" driver. Plans forthcoming after they are drawn by a friend. HINT: you have to buy 5x5 foot Baltic Birch for both. Heavy and not cheap! You can make a 3-way or 2-way passive out of it too!

Good to see you here. Had been away hammering on the system build, then some summer/outdoor stuff, then about ready to post the system results after some break-in time (all new speaker guts), then this. The new Mac kit is superb, the amp (MC255) as well as the MX151. That's one serious piece of gear, and the RoomPerfect is really impressive. Along with the all new Cornwall innards, superb. Was gonna post the results over there but then.......the change. It's a little weird. But I'm as giddy about the results as can be.....really pleased and impressed.
This place has always served as a part time home to go back to as well as a reference (especially Mac) so maybe this place takes on some new significance. This place has it's rules/ways/means too so we'll see how it all goes. I've always been pretty OK here albeit I travel in different circles (like the Mac stuff - here is mostly vintage). Maybe we can be the same for Klipsch, or at least move that "role" somewhere good to gather for us knuckleheads....
I saw too many disappearances to think it normal but didn't really know what was going on. I just kept whacking away at the system build and mostly working with that as a reference. Then a couple more snapshots, then this. What a re-entry, huh?
OK, enough about the Klipsch Site. This is AK and other forum bashing is not allowed for obvious reasons. So please all you folks that are new here enjoy your time here and I would suggest you check out the AK rules. Hopefully the other site will right the ship and sail on. This thread has served it's purpose so it's closed. Otherwise like in the other thread you will have to listen to my Valencias for 8 hrs straight.
