I bought the ADS's in the E*ay add. I only have one pair of vintage speakers(Vega D-3's bought from Gordon) and am anxious to find out about the ADS sound which seems to get rave reviews on here. Can I get a little help on what I should pair it with. Marantz 1060, 2238, Kenwood 4070, or Pioneer 1050. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

good speakers sound good, period. but i think if you can scout out some similar vintage yamaha amplification, like an A-1 integrated, you would find some very happy synergy there

Thanks for the info. I have a Yamaha CR-220 but only 20 wpc so obviously on match for the ADS's. I'll keepan eye out for a more powerful Yammie. BTW I mostly listen to new and classic rock via CD(NAD521BBE).
