I understand as is a lot of vintage gear. I am a fan of the ADS line but have never heard of these and they don't look that special. What sound wise or construction wise make them a must have?

I can pick them up. Only 45 minutes or so out of my way. Worth it for $130? They do look a little beat up and don't have lines nearly as nice as the 500 line. I'm tempted but just committed to two other pairs of speakers and am in real danger of becoming a collector...without running it by my better half. I'd like to try at a pair of ADS bookshelf speakers and these seem like a good choice sonically.

There was a pair on the bay sometime last year, for the longest time at a BIN of $30-$40. I really wanted to jump on them. But alas, no room.

I understand completely...there's been a lot of great deals in my area...just picked up some KG4's with the boxes, TF-600's, & LX-10's...just to mention a few
