What do you think? What is the best, the greatest, best of or greatest hits album of all time?

Back in the day they were not as plentiful and a greatest hits/best off, release was more like a new album release. Today, they come out ad nauseam. All kinds of stuff just thrown together.

interesting enough, this greatest hits LP contained some new songs.

There are a few good ones that come to mind. "Decade" from Neil Young is probably my fave, but "Weird scenes inside the Gold Mine" from The Doors is a regular as well.

Don't bother, it was a 'tongue in cheek' title Throbbing Gristle bestowed on their third album, which is filled with an assortment of ambient and industrial "noise" rock. OTOH, you might find some of TG's stuff interesting if you've not heard it before. There are probably a few numbers, if not the entire album, @ utoob.

thanks, I found Thirty Second... on Tidal, I'll give it a listen.

I have so little funk that anytime I see the word I jump.
