Well, for $8K I want FM stereo

I tested this one thoroughly and did find an issue with the FM only. It does not receive FM in stereo, nor does the quartz lock work. It still receives stations pretty well and the FM does play through both channels, it just does not get a good enough signal for stereo and or quartz lock

You can get a very nice set of monos, preamp, tuner and speakers that would better that. I guess it is the "bling" and collector factor.

sort of OT but I cant get FM stereo on my 2220 b either. We live way up in the mountains but even fairly near transmitters wont come in. is this a hard fix? I should probably get a better antenna first

for that money, it should be blemish free and receive stereo. It should be 100%. What about re-capping? Add that dollar figure to whatever is spent in the purchase.

I see he said it was fully serviced but yet no description of what that service included. Id be asking questions especially at that rediculous price.

Though as others have said, bling and or collectible value. I could see buying much much better for that kind of coin though.
