why have i never thought of that?

Guerrilla Entrepreneur in the making? what's more funny that this are the "high end" speaker jumpers for hundreds of dollars. It's pretty obvious what you're getting from this seller and there are no claims of "amazing.. incredible... "

If he/she went on about how superior the sound would be using these jumpers then I'd probably feel different about it. This is just someone making a few bucks from someone who might not want to make their own or can't stomach just using or making a pair of short interconnects. the seller could certainly stand to improve the fit and finish but it is, what it is I suppose.

Tube packs for the lazy shopper touting that they are "for" a specific amp is another ebay stunt that is designed for the uninformed audio hobbyist. an easy way to mark up tubes you can find anywhere for much less. Add the word "Mcintosh" to your quad of JJ 7591 and the price goes up 30% :) that's not entrepreneurship, that's Maddoff business ethics 101.

They have to be good - he's got a 100% positive feedback rating. I give him a +1 for creativity.
With that in mind, I wonder if he's going to add spike discs to his inventory. Simple to machine but yet the prices that some people command make me scratch my head. If I had the equipment to make them, I think I'd give it a shot

All that is a piece of #8 or #6 (I can't remember the size off hand) bare copper ground wire you can find at Home Depot. More power to him if he can sell them.

I agree. The same can be said for most of the multi hundred dollar "audiophile" power cables , interconnects and speaker wires. Initially the connectors , and other acoutrements that made a cable look handsome wasn't so readily available to consumers. Now everyone can make a nice looking pair of cables with mogami wire and nice termination for far less than a pair of $800 "you'll feel like you've died and gone to heaven" advertised cables. ( and a lot of people do). Home brew cables are everywhere, some claiming to "sound better" based on this or that, hence the price, and others are just keeping it real , telling you what brands of parts they used and asking to be compensated for the time they put in to pull it all together.

This seller just hasn't done anything to make the jumpers really stand out visually or packaged them in a way to gloss up the look. but he's also not making sound quality claims. They're jumpers, if you lost yours, here's a set for $13 is how I'm reading it. a far different sales pitch that say... Less Loss audio blackbody field conditioner. or that other company with the alien rocks, or an off the shelf digital clock that supposed to improve a cd player.

what does a manufacturer charge for a pair of replacement jumpers with shipping ? for all we know $13 might be a killer deal if you're not a DIYer or don't want to resort to a pair of RCA cables.
