They are left and right in my home theater and sound great. I have never done any critical listening but find them very enjoyable. They also met no resistance from my wife which surprised me. They are the most used speakers in the house as my son has taken over that room with his xbox.

Same exact dimensions as the A400's. If you ever run across a pair and want to pull a fast switch the only worry is the 4 ohm draw.

Thanks g-billy! I'm looking forward to collecting them Saturday. I've had BA's in the past, but only the smaller A70's. They were very nice, but I've always wanted to try their bigger A-series brothers. I believe these are an older version with the SEAS tweeter, coated mid and lower woofer placement. I've got to replace the busted spring connectors (already ordered replacement 5-way posts from PE), but I'm going to hold off on a recap until listening to them. I may wind up re-foaming them as it appears that the incorrect, non-filleted surrounds were used last time around. Seller claims he got them that way from an "audio freak". Always fun to sample something new!

I guess I'm not the only one then that has waf with the larger a series. Surprisingly my wife likes the a400's in the living room even though they almost never get played.
Good luck to you Dave getting your new 200's up to snuff. A Dayton recap was helpful on my 400's................ now I'm getting the itch to put them back into rotation.

Thanks Brian. I'm thinking that with the beige grills and light oak cabs, she might like these. Plus, she can push them back against the wall in our den to make room for the Christmas tree. A double-win for both me and Santa!

Save yourself the trouble if foam on them now is good and installed properly. Very little difference in bass, if any, last I A/B`d the two.
I had a pair for a while. I liked them. Even brought them out to the fest in Clinton. Sounded good hooked up to my old Fisher RS 1080.
