how can they sound great when the foams are completely gone?
 
i do not know much about kef's ,but have had some nice boston speakers not of this calibre though i would say the boston's i know they are up there on the pecking order not sure on the kef's
 
yes he can but i seriously doubt he will,i actualy think he will get more than expected. at least i am glad to not see the hated reserve,i know there is a reason but why take a chance i dont even mess with reserve auctions. i think i would have started at $30 or so myself.i think each set will top 100 or more.
 
It might just be an accident. I listed a bunch of stuff a year ago, and some sort of ebay default put "Free Shipping" on stuff that was not intended to be. I didn't notice it because I had just listed 30 items. It is hard to check out every one of your listings when you take that much time to list everything. I caught it in time.

Maybe he buys low knowing he can still sell at a profit with free shipping.

What you can be most certain of, is that he's probably not going to sell them at a loss to himself.

the kef's are already over $150 the bostons are holding at .99 i think it will be a slug fest last few seconds of auction,stranger things have happened i once lucked out on a ncie pioneer that was listed at .99 and shipping was on point. auction ended no bidders ,i could have got it if i had bidded.but i dont think i would have held him to .99 i would have given a fair price.
 
i am sure the guy with the .99 bid has a high limit. i would do 200 i think the bostons will top 250 and the kef's will top 300,but i am not in the market for speakers i just bought some ADS L710's and i am content for the moment.
