Those episodes really struck me. The only other sci-fi I recall where religion is a central point and not a negative one were Dune and A Canticle for Liebowitz.

Just saw Coming Soon pop up on Amazon. When that happened with Goliath is was ~6 weeks until it dropped. Can't wait...

As far as the series ending, they're only up to the third book of the nine book series (Abaddon's Gate) with the last episode of season 3, and two of them have yet to be written.
