just received the receiver and it is an 800 B still not a bad score for 15 buck at a local Clearwater thrift shop

Oh yeah they do. Everyone is alloted ONE! NO MORE. If you haven't got your Free or low cost FISHER, it'll come to you. Eventually! Like 20 years after a great Grand-Daughter has her 1st Grand-Kid.

BTW the ONLY 900 amplifier that FISHER ever produced was the 900-TA Hybrid Amp for the 64 thru 66 President and the '64 Regent II. 10 or 12 total output selenium transistors in 2 banks of 5 to 6 (each channel) for about 60WPC. Working one's are rare as Hens Teeth.
