That is amazing! My grandmother used to take that same route when she was a kid in the 1930's to play in the "city" after school.

That's amazing! For every person who died that day, countless more lived who could have been killed.

How quickly time goes by. Just 4 short years from tomorrow, there will be adults who weren't born yet on 9/11/01.

For all the 'victory' they may have claimed, the perpetrators inadvertently bought the American people together in a way they could not have predicted, and almost certainly did not want.

A brilliant display of determination, resolve and patriotism from the people of New York, and ultimately of the USA as a whole.

For sure....in those days, my work commute was via Interstate Rt. 78, and the following day, there were American flags flying from every overpass along the highway....that in itself was inspirational.
