The holy grail?

I think I would prefer a box of tapes of unreleased, previously unkown Elvis or Beatles recording!

That would turn my crank!!!

Now getting down to it, the first and "holiest" of such "grail" toys would be...

Infinity IRS V speakers

:ntwrthy: :ntwrthy: :ntwrthy: :ntwrthy:

:music: :thmbsp: :music: :thmbsp: :music: :thmbsp: :music: :thmbsp:

that's exactly what i was thinking. for amplification, how about one of those handmade Bob Carver tube amps on top and the biggest Krell monoblocks (the ones that have like 20 output transistors per side) on the bottom. but more important than those would be the right room for the speakers. maybe if i could take out the floor in half of the first level and put the V's in the basement...:scratch2:

most aDs speakers, and speakers from royd, Allison, IMF, fried, dahlquist, & thiel.

Amps, pre-amps and componentry from PSE, PS Audio, B&K, Audire, Threshold, Forte, Aragon, Bryston & McCormack.

A Transcriptors turntable.

A man can dream...

Ah hell....I'm easy....mayhap anyone of them Bigger Horn Klipsch speaker sets than what I currently have (KG 3.2's...which ain't bad at all)
Just one pair will do...

Had the Vincent, lost in divorce:tears:, but probably any old Marantz or Mac tube gear nib or lots and lots of nos GE and westinghouse tubes.

A '69 ZL-1 Camaro, XR 750 flat tracker, CR 3020 Yamaha.
I am sure there is plenty better stereo gear but that one would keep me happy.

Monica Bellucci arriving naked driving a 1967 Shelby gt-500kr delivering the finest Accuphase/Gryphon/ McIntosh equipment money can buy:thmbsp:

Docblues

You had a Vincent? You lost it ,I would still be crying,am grateful still have Matchless, either a Vincent or Napco four wheel or death in my personal book, did get a Weatherby which I have wanted for years ,could not afford but those who could could not shoot it well, nice match in the end.

Linn Sondek LP-12
Kef 104/2 or 105/2
Mac 501 Amp
Mac C-2200 Pre-amp

There are more expensive, more exclusive, and probably better, but that will do me fine.

Maybe a 1958 Fisher President with a pair of EL-37 tubed 80-A's. Lots of brass and walnut:

A 1969 1/2 Dodge Super Bee 440-6pack in lovely Bahama Yellow.

4-speed of course.

Audio Holy Grail? Geez, beats me; I'm easily amused w/my modest system.
