The I haven't played it in awhile playlist

Yes,"Tales from Topographic Oceans".

I can honestly say I probably have NEVER listened to all 4 sides...

Hi Andyman. I've got a beat-up old copy of "tales from the topographic oceans" on vinyl and I was kind of impressed by it when I spun it. I do prefer their later sound, but this record was kind of cool!

Playing tonight: Foreigner - 4, Wall of Voodoo - Call of the West, jan Hammer - Escape from Television. 80s Night.

Going to go ahead and do Side 2 of Yes's "Tales form Topographic Oceans". It's Ok, but I'm not finding it intriguing; which is probably why I've never listened to the whole thing.
The artwork is more captivating than the music so far...

Floyds Wright had a solo album out at about the same time, maybe a little later, entitled Wet Dream. I still have my mc copy.

Anyone here have this one? Ever heard of it?

Yup... I have Wet Dream as well as Gilmour's self-titled. Good stuff.

I recently picked up On An Island which sounds a lot like regular Pink Floyd.

It's a relatively obscure album, I don't know why? I did a quick and dirty check, and it seems that there aren't any fresh copies to be had, and used ones start at $60! (I'm talking about Wet Dream) Not to say it's not available, but I checked Amazon, and they usually have most everything.

Gilmours' s/t cd is available, and it's high time I bought it.

BTW, If you like On an Island, you should get the DVD. It has the complete OAI work with some PF, recorded at Albert Hall. Sonics and picture are top shelf. There is also a Blu-Ray disc available. Guests like Bowie and Crosby and Nash, plus tons of extras that won't bore the hell outta ya.

Highly recommended.

Wow... my Wet Dream is in NM condition!

On an Island is good, but I'll have to spin it some more and decide if I really like it.

Thanks!

I know for certain that I have played "Wet Dreams" only twice, since bought new. But, I will never sell it. I am gonna take it off the shelf and try to keep it in its' NM condition.

When I bought it, my TT was a Technics SL 1500 Mk II/Stanton 881 S.

OK, "Tales" Side 3 just finished and now Side 4 is on. The last 5 minutes of 3 had some nice acoustic guitar work, but that aside, once this is over it will probably be a long time before I go down this road again...

Friday night and I just picked up a nice LP for half a buck...

In A Gadda Da Vida

Bay Bee!!

:lmao: Well, it is Friday :D

Go forth, brave soul.
