The I haven't played it in awhile playlist

I ended up listening to For Squirrels the other night. It had been quite a few years but its even better than I remember it. There's probably a lot of people that have never heard of them but there's a reason for that. Right before the album was released the lead singer, bass player and manager were killed in a car wreck after a show.

Music has away of tripping memories and emotions. It's good that you can keep the memory and the music of Squirrel alive.

Kansas - Point of No Return

Electric Light Orchestra, On The Third Day, just started listening to it once again. Guess it fell off the playlist for many moons and it still sounds so different but enjoyable none the less.

Three albums I have recently pulled out that I haven't listened to in years (and I mean decades) are:

Joan Baez - Diamonds and Rust
Carpenters - Horizon
bought both in 1975

Guy Clark - Better Days
bought in 1983

After listening to these again, I could kick myself for what I was missing. Now, I play these quite frequently.

On the other hand, I've listened to some albums from the same period and wondered why I ever bought them, knowing it will be years before I listen to them again.:D
