I thought I should post a pic of my yard sale find about 5 years ago. An amazing $10 find. Not likely I’ll ever be able to top this. The internet has helped in putting a stop to finding cheap treasures.

I’m not beating up on Ohio. I’d rather move west of here near or in the Endless Mountains of PA. Really beautiful country. That would only put us a few hours away from our daughter.

Picked this up on Wednesday morning. Today we went to Home Depot for a swag chain kit. I think it’s a real beauty

I love vintage light projects. Today I found these two reverse painted pendant shades at the thrift store. The inside is treated with ground glass, creating a shimmering effect.

I’m going to miss all the antique co-ops that are within a 2 hour drive here in PA. I seen more than a few near my daughter in Ohio. Much better here.

I wasn’t going to post this because I didn’t want MCM people here thinking I was nuts.
This piece was gorgeous and if I was staying here I would keep it. It was 7’ long and heavy as hell so I decided to give to a friend. I did remove the 1964 Sherwood tube receiver though before I gave it away.

I found this lamp in a closet in the summer house, and hooked it up just to see if it still worked. I actually think it looks sort of space-age cool, and it gives off a nice soft light. So now I'm planning on getting a longer chord for it, and hanging it over the dining table.
There was also this Knubbling, with a chord just long enough to reach one of the outlets. It's missing the screen for the bottom, but it still gives off a pleasant light. No more dining in darkness
It's almost a shame that I will be taking the floor lamp with me when I go home...
