The Name That Album thread

I will take that cookie!

I've got to do better than the apparent smash hit "Frankenchrist".

How 'bout this (it is the front, nothing's removed):

I should add, in case it's not obvious, that this is the LP. The cee-dee does have the band name on the cover.

No idea. I'm picturing sludgy instrumental Metal though.

Nobody wants to take a crack at mine? If you want to cheat, here's a hint. The album title and artist for the second is visible in the car's grille, but you'll have to find a bigger version of the picture in order to make it out.

It's not Metal, nor is it sludgy instrumental anything.

Save yours. I've flipped past that many times at Easy Street. Always notice it because I used to own Saab 900s. ;)

Slint - Spiderland and I'm not sure of the other one. Is it a 7"? I have both.

Oops, Sorry.

I'm at work and kind of in speed mode. I didn't read all the stated rules on the first post.

This is going to be a fun thread! I bet that it will challenge the "AK Design Collaboration - Econo-Waveguide Speaker" thread for the number of replies.

There are hundreds of "Demonstration - Not for Resale" records from the campus radio station at our local GoodWill right now. I am sure that I could grab a handful of those and stump everybody but that wouldn't be fair (and it wouldn't be any fun either). I sure as heck haven't heard of any of them. There are some really bizarre looking jackets in the mix. I think that there is another thread somewhere about weird album artwork where they would be better suited.

Anyway, I am looking forward to watching this thread. I will have to go through my original LP collection and dig out a few gems to post. I'm sure that there are more than a few oddballs lurking in there.

No worries. It's kinda tough, with all our varying schedules, for the person who solved the last one to be able to post the next mystery cover.

^ Strawbs / From The Witchwood

So meggy, it's your turn to post the next album when you are able. Unless you want to pass and then it goes back to BostonDave.

Unless you guys want more of a free-for-all, where anyone posts their mystery cover. Seems that'd get kinda messy though.:scratch2:

OK, I'll sandwich this one in here.
