The Name That Album thread

The original idea was that whoever solves the mystery album then posts their own. But if the consensus is that that idea will slow things down too much, perhaps we modify it?

Yes Agree with the OP. We should have some patience and wait for Ken. It's the only way this is going to work without turning into a mess. This thread has great ongoing potential if we stick to the rules as outlined by the OP.
 
I'm back and I thought I'd get out of the indie rut and post one for the classic rockers.

I apologize for the delay and TMI (Lasagna, BTW). Next time I correctly guess an album, I will have an LP picture ready-to-post-immediately, if not sooner. I would suggest others do the same so our AK members in different time zones don't have to wait while others visit the Land of Nod.
 
I'm stumped too. Looks like late 60s early 70s, like an after woodstock release. Guy looks familiar. For the briefest of moments I thought early Marc Bolen. Thought the Gibson (Les Paul?) he's playing might be a helpful hint but not so far. Is that on a Mercury label?

When I find out who it is it's going to be one of those dope-slap moments for me isn't it?

Unrelated to the current mystery photo: I'm thinking my original rule of posting either the front or back of an album be changed. Just the front seems a more realistic approach to this.

Bingo! There is the answer! :thmbsp: Prepare in advance if you want to play. If you are not ready at the time that you post a correct answer just say so at that time so that everyone else can continue to play along according to the rules of the game.
