Without sounding like a knob, which this question will prove I am. What the hell does VCLT stand for? I've heard the reference enough in vid posts but I'm clueless..

Indeed. I already had great digital files as you know, and had turned them into a nice CD-R package, but it's an outstanding vinyl pickup.
I feel like it might be one of the better sounding Back On Black releases that I own. I remember you saying that their quality can be hit or miss at times.

My memory is blurry on that subject of having the mp3's :biggrin:

The best ones from that label IMHO have MPO etched in the dead wax. That is a pressing plant in France.

The Fist files definitely have your fingerprints all over them. You have a specific way with metadata.

I just checked, and your files were specifically from the Fistory Anthology which presents the tracklist in the same order, except that Disc One of Fistory is Vol. 2 of the vinyl set, and Disc Two of Fistory is Vol. 1 of the vinyl set.
I looked at the matrix coding on both albums, and sure enough they have the MPO logo stamped on them. I guess this means the tinnitus hasn't completely wrecked my hearing and that your theory about Back On Black is correct!!
