Completely without hope....

The improper characterization while trying to entertain an audience....just like the Pilot opening for True Story !

This last one was awful. Silly and yet at the same time full of lazy stereotypes attempting to elicit knee jerk reactions. The potentially interesting interplay between the younger agents wasn't developed as much as it could've been either.

Hopefully the last episode is better than the first 5. All have been pretty ho hum so far.

I believe the last one goes back to continuing the story line from the first episode. it sure looks like they are putting Eisnten & Miller as replacements for a new show. I'd watch it. (I'd give it a chance anyway - there's nothing else like it on TV right now.)

Ida know ... Mulder line dancing on shrooms was kinda kewl ... think of it as the Californication of the X Files ...

Mulder on shrooms reminded me of Walter on window pane.

And I thought that I was alone in not liking the nouveau "X", but pretty well a common theme resides within the different posts on this thread...it seems more like a farce of the old. After viewing that "Condor..."episode, I kinda threw in the towel. I felt it had shades of "Creature from the Black Lagoon" in it. Apology to those who look at it as a time period classic, eh? But that was back then, and they could have done a lot better with what they have today.

Tried once more on watching yet another, but it just couldn't hold my interest. And I was a true follower of the old series...least for MOST of it.

Strange how one one of the posts resurrected memories of that dark "Caddy" episode which reflected some of the past abductees as of late. But, guess that's what drama is supposed to do...reflect societial happenings.

I was a huge fan when it first aired, watched every episode til the last including the bad movies.

The new x files is painful to watch, i can't do it. I'll still try a few more episodes, maybe they have to warm up the saddle..
