My real (thus first generation only) Spec gear is:
2x Pioneer Spec 1, 2x Pioneer Spec 2, 2x Pioneer TX-9500, 2x Pioneer SG-9500, 2x Pioneer CT-F1000, 2x Pioneer RT-707, 2x Pioneer
PL-570 and PL-530. Including 4x pioneer Ja-r101, 6x Ja-r102. Essentially two sets thus. All 120volt domestic only versions, some 120volt factory selectable multivoltage. Currently all stored in my bedroom (closet). My AK account picture 'says' it all so to speak

I do not own and will not buy a origional Pioneer vertical Spec components rack, unless I 'dead cheap', stumble over it. Why?:
Intention is to put and rackmount one of the above sets in my livingroom in a special fabricated for these components purpose build double layer horizontal long wood and wood cherry or wallnut veneered, hifi cabinet. On top of the cabinet will be the two PL-570's!
The other Spec set will be shelved in rack(s) bought at Lowes, Wallmart and / or Home depot etc etc; and will not be hooked up. But just stored thus in my 'hifi storage' (bed)room, like I will do also with my other vintage hifi gear. This '2nd' Spec components set is just bought as a spare, or backup, and / or for display only, and is fully functional also.
And yes, I love my Pioneer Spec! Best vintage HiFi purchases I ever made! Best sounding? Not for every type of listening. I have some other brand components and also from pioneer I prefere allround soundwise over my spec gear. But again. I'm very happy with my 'Spec'. Engineering, design and build are supurb!
