The Real Star is the CAR

I had a '76 Dodge Royal Monaco Brougham that looked a lot like this car.

I posted up The Car earlier ...

Kind of inspired me to have fun with my Mercury Monarch ... Imagine this coming up behind you at a light with you driving a Datsun during the Import Wars ... BLAP BLAP ... BLAPBLAPBLAP!

Yes, that is one scary lookin' beast for sure

Great thread sKiZo!

Since this thread's strayed a ways from the car (other vehicle) is the star to include "the car" (or other vehicle" associated w/ a/the main character in a film or television series (really: "Dwight Shut's car" ???), might as well post up this mofo:

I used to watch that show as a kid too but I don't remember much about the show other than I liked the cool Jeep with the machine gun in the back. I think at some point I had a Rat Patrol Tonka Jeep.

I had interest because my Father (RIP )was a Army Captain in North Africa during that N. Africa battle, & was part of the under fire via the Vichi (un sure of spelling)l)French initial African beach landings !
And I soaked up any war stories he felt like opening about about his combat situations there-in !!
I was not going to try to dig it out him, as I felt he would open up/convey what he was comfortable with at whatever time we were sitting together talking, that triggered him to recall horrific personal battle images /incidents that he encountered in N. Africa..

I must be the oldest person here, can't believe no-one knows the car in "Excuse My Dust".

Funny as my brothers and I watched this as kids and we all thought the name of the car was the name of the movie lol. It wasn't until later as an adult I realised the real name of the movie, which isn't as funny.
