Hope you got the results on Your Tube. Would love to see it. Maybe you can sell some of your vintage gear to help repair your home.
 
I've tried to resist, honestly I did. But in good concience I can't sit idly by, and say nothing.

Throughout phase 1 and 2 of this little "experiment", knowledgeable, experienced people warned you again and again that you were going to set your house on fire. Guess what? You did! There is a reason that people don't do this sort of thing. The reason? It's pointless, rediculous and potentially deadly.

If you haven't learned a lesson from this, I just hope the next time you apply for a Darwin award, you don't take anyone else out with you.

Note: If you're pulling our legs (and I honestly hope you are). Quit wasting everyone's time.

If all of this really happened, which I won't believe without photos, I'm not sure who is more stupid. You, or your buddies that let you use their gear in this insane, senseless experiment. BTW, where was the Mrs. during this firestorm?

This reminds me of what happened in Africa recently with people scooping up spilled gasoline from an overturned tanker. You know something bad is going to happen; it's just a question of when and how bad a catastrophe it's going to be. Lesson learned? My bet is not just yet.
 
They told you so. What is the polite way of saying that maybe somebody should be removed from the gene pool? Oh yeah, the Darwin Award. Sounds like you were pretty close to earning one.

Just make sure that you are the only one that gets hurt, other people shouldn't have to suffer because of your great ideas. Nobody really feels bad about self-inflicted injuries.

No, the current was too much. I reckon you were putting around 100amps through wire that was meant for much less.
 
A lot of this story reeks of BS.

1. It would be difficult to find enough room to put 100 speakers into a trailer even a double wide.

2. It would be virtualy impossible to find enough electricial recepts to plug in 50 amps/receivers in a trailer and even if you used a dozen surge protectors the circiut breakers should have flipped long before a fire broke out.

3. Once a fire does break out in a trailer it spreads insanely fast, I truly doubt you would have time to put it out.

4. I doubt that other people would dontate their gear to this cause.

5. That even if it did happen why would you post it here is a mystery to me.
