I don't have any problem believing Rob fit close to 100 speakers in his home. We've seen pictures.

well i know there is alot of people crying b.s. on me, i can assure u it is all true - unfortunatly.

anyways i promise to get some pics up by this time next week!! my camera was damaged during this experiment so i have to get another one.

Mrs stereorob was at a friends house when this insanity happend.
she hasnt come home yet......
dont have time to give a full breakdown on how this all happend but when i do i will post it!!!

I beleve it all. Seriously. That is pure auditory badassery. Looking forward to pics. One question though. Was it worth it? lol

It wasn't a fire, your trailer was just preparing for lift off. Had you not put it out, it would have flown to the moon powered by rawk.

I believe it all. If some of you remember in the first threads he had he did have pictures of the whole system coming up before he had the full 50 receivers but I think it was around 38 or 40 receivers at that time so for all of you BS'ing this well just look at his past threads and believe for yourself.

Now, I told you Rob that you were gonna start a fire! I'm just glad your okay and everything. Everyone said it couldn't be done cause of fire but you did it, but still fire.

The Shock and Awelectrocution System! LOL

If false, it sure is a bit of fun, and if true, it's an example. Either way, it's somewhat enertaining.

+1 :thmbsp: This is one of the more entertaining threads I've seen here in a while... we all knew this would probably end badly, but if stereorob wants to do it, who's to stop him? It's not like no one here warned him what could happen...

I'm a bit suspicious myself...evidently the trailer has no circuit breakers or fuses, or they're grossly oversized/bypassed.

Or malfunctioning.

Indeed, though this deserves a Riker;

I was thinking the Ben Sisko facepalm...when he does it, you know someone's about to get hurt.

To all the posts about the electrical inaccuracies of this thread. To play devil's advocate, it's possible there were malfunctioning circuit breakers. If they are old and have been abused (as we can assume has happened in the home of somebody trying to run fifty receivers at once) they most likely don't perform up to spec. Would they perform that badly? Who knows.

Also, maybe the trailer has a fuse box instead of breakers. If somebody's nutty enough to do this, why wouldn't they be nutty enough to jam a penny under the fuse?

Just sayin'.

I've been on the wrong end of malfing breakers before...it's not fun to melt an outlet.

What that might be, I can only imagine.

So, your wife is going to come home to find out that you've nearly burned the house down?

:lmao::lmao::lmao:

If he put on some Bowie, I bet he could make it to Mars!

It's possible rob's experience was all a very bad *ahem* "trip" if I may? :smoke:

You have to hand it to the guy for trying to have a legitimate fireworks show on the cheap though. Sometimes, you just don't have time to go buy fireworks - but in this case some drywall, electrical outlets and mounds of audio gear seemed to do the trick.

Maybe next time you should try running new dedicated circuits from a 400 amp service for them. :thmbsp:

Scary, nonetheless, though. Glad you are safe and managed to put out the fire before it got out of hand...

Though how are you gonna break this to the wife?

"Honey, I burnt the house!" :D

Ok lets say for the sake of argument that this all went down like you said it did, Why would you risk 25 amps/receivers and 50 sets of speakers with the distinct likelyhood that you would burn your place down, and in the proccess possibly lose everything you and your wife own? If you still have a wife after this is all over.

Shock and awe my ass :D Shock yes. I am shocked that anyone would be this foolish. There is nothing awe inspiring about this whole story though, it's not like you saved the lives of innocent children while being attacked by a wild animal or something similar. If true you very nearly lost everying and you say yes it was all worth it? Worth what? So that you could for a few brief seconds hear an whole bunch of really bad sound? and suffer the ridicule of virtually everyone who reads this?

REGARDS JIM
