If the front panel light is not coming on but the PS is getting warm, there is something shorting or partially shorting to one or the other power rail. You should not power it up anymore to prevent more damage, unless you have a thermal camera which might help you find the part quickly. Otherwise, you'll need to test the components likely to fail shorted. I'd start with the regulated supply section at the right in the photo near the incoming power cable, then work my way up through to the other end.
