Nice to see a different perspective. The press booth at Petco park San Diego, pregame. Taken with a Sony DSC-230 many innings ago.
I don't take very many sports photos. Last week someone mentioned this event in San Diego and I told her that I would send her the photo, so I just happened to have it on my desktop.
I had a friend who covered the Oakland Athletics for the Tribune. He gave me some of his prints from Panatomic X film. I think that is the look I was going.

I had a blast watching my daughter play volleyball. Wish I had a better camera back then.
Beautiful.Looking across the water at dusk from behind the campsite at Tracy Pond, northwest of Cranberry Lake, NY.

Nice image. Great that you printed it out. Too many images these days get taken and just disappear. I try and print my favorites, then give them away. Then there is a record somewhere and it's appreciated. This was originally taken with an Asahi Pentax Spotmatic some time in late June/ early July 1987. Probably with a 50mm f/1.4 lens (maybe the 70mm we had), probably with Fuji 400 ASA film (maybe with 200). I don't remember, and the negs are buried away somewhere. I didn't write down the exposure values, and the meter in the camera never worked anyways, so exposure was done by guessing with the depth of field preview always on. Image is from a canoe looking up one the the lakes in Bowron Lakes Provincial Park, B.C., Canada. It was an unforgettable trip. Unfortunately, the print has some slight ripples that show up in a photo, but are not too bad in reality. These are the light vertical streaks. And I'm not very proficient with the Nikon photo editing program, so it's not super straight. All I've done is color correct the white balance.
