I think he needs to rethink hes price too for a lot that large.. Where's the bulk discount?

I sure would love to see a picture of all those lined up for sure..
 
He'd prolly get a whole lot more interest and $$ if he were to sell them by the pair, and not tell anyone that he has 16 pair up for sale.
 
This is being sold by one of those companies....imagine the looks on their faces when the original owner contacted them about selling these...:jawdrop:
 
I doubt they were much over 30K new, they certainly would have been discounted for such a large installation.

I agree with you too Simi, the price is right at the top for A7-500's especially with a market flood of 32 units.

One thing tho, if they were indeed new when they went into that installation, they're probably very good where cosmetics are concerned, and free of rube goldberg repairs and "mystery holes".
 
Wonder what they're loaded with.... 1250 crossover... hhhm.. seem like newer with that.. probably 902's on the horns?

I wouldn't hazard a guess without a couple pics. But, the vintage of the crossover/input plate as shown would certainly not be far off, could be A or T versions with full back covers, those seem to be the most desirable 902's currently.

The fact that the seller threw a "G" in there could indicate that these are high power A7's with 515-G (non-alnico) woofers and 1.2k XO. If that's the case, a lower XO point would probably be in order for hifi apps.

EDIT: Doh! N-1285 is selectable 500, 800, or 1200 hz XO point................................ was looking at too much too fast.

I talked to him last night and he is trying to locate the horns now. I also pointed out that a big part of the value of those lay in the horns. He is selling them for a large company and doesn't know diddly about selling these. If they weren't in Canada and the shipping cost potential so huge I would be on it now... Still thinking though.
