Filet Mignon
Pan Seared Scallops
Sauteed Baby Portabella and Sweet Onions
Cast Iron Caramelized Brussel Sprouts with Bacon and Thyme
Fire Baked Potatoes
Beef Stock Reduction Glaze
Bleu Cheese Stuffed Cresent Rolls drizzled with Honey and dusted with fresh thyme.

Cooked over a bed of Cherry and Hickory woods.

Yum!!

Looks like real scallops there instead of the faux cookie cutter (whoknowswhat) fish lookalikes.:drool:

I spent many years Motorcycle Camping. Fairly a "minimalist" adventure. Tent, air mattress, sleeping bag, one burner Coleman Gas Stove, Coffee Pot, Mess Kit, Radio, Extension cord, Laptop. Mostly stayed in KOA's for their decent bathrooms, nice campsites electric at tent sites and free WiFi. Heck, some even had Cable TV hookup at tent sites.

Ate fairly spartan. Beans, Tuna Fish, etc. Your camp dinner would have been fit for a King compared to how I camped. Looks fantastic.

I also like to eat well when I'm out camping. I live in a tightly packed suburb - so any time I can cook with open flame and charcoal, I tend to over do it. I'm planning a several camping trip this year. One of them is guys only with no food brought from home. Strictly eat off the land...including water. I'm looking forward to that. :yes:
 
Very cool. Try adding some sliced apples and cinnamon to those brussel sprouts for a good twist.

Is this a proven recipe or are you just trying to mess up his good looking food? :D I may have to try this since I enjoy brussel sprouts alot.
