This is how I roll when the wife and I are camping -

Thanks for the compliments everyone!

Those are some good eats! Perhaps some beef wellington on the next trip?

I have three large dutch ovens that I can bake in so that is a great idea not to mention it is one of my wife's favorites!

Very nice!! I'm drooling looking at your pictures. Door county has to be one of the most beautiful places in Wisconsin. I miss it there, but not the mosquitos.

Looks great! I'm going glamping in about 10 days so it'll be my turn next.

Awesome Dan. I love Door County! Peninsula State Park is beautiful. We used to stay at Sister Bay a lot . . . at a hotel though. Newport State Park is very nice. Also loved the Prairie Du Chien area. Camped there many times and stayed on my buddies cabin cruiser as well. Enjoy!

I look forward to your pics but I cannot compete with your cooking!

The pic I posted of the view of the Mississippi is just south of Prarie Du Chien. Gorgeous part of the sate!

Okay- let's go back to your original title of this thread. Dear fellow audio enthusiast, by my definition what you are doing is not camping. 10's of thousands of people live in mobile homes, consequently you are not camping. Here are a couple of pics from one of our favorite "camping" sites.

One picture is from the lake, the other is pointing to the lake and the other is my son's hammock made on site. One camp site on the lake obtainable only by canoe, there are no roads. The out house was down the trail behind your favorite tree. We were camping and we still ate steak and fresh sunny's and blue gills.

Spoiled Brat!

Here is where we were headed Saturday ...

12 miles ... 4700 vertical feet. Getting ready for the St. Helen's assent in July. Last minute closure ... looks like we are headed to Mt. Hood. I'll be lucky to get a couple pieces of beef jerky and a pack of trail mix.

Here are a couple pics from the last few hikes ... so many more to do.

I had my days of tent camping and back packing into remote areas. I don't get around as well as I used to so I really enjoy some sort of comfort. And, the thread was more about the food than the camping in the first place. Kudos to you and your son for your style of camping. I will continue to be warm and dry when there is a down pour and I may even pop a movie into the DVD player. :-)

Those Brussels sprouts look just amazing!...yum*

Thanks. They turned out quite good!

Tents or trailers ---its all about being in the outdoors and enjoying nature.

I concur...

Odd, but we have never camped in Hawaii - together. The S.O. has in her past, but I never have.

I wish I could find pics I took of me motorcycle camping around the Mainland.

From Florida to Seattle. Me, the motorcycle and what I could carry. I'd not do it again, but I'm glad I did. I have those pics somewhere and will find them and post them sometime today or tomorrow.
