This is how I roll when the wife and I are camping -

My apologies for questioning what camping is or isn't. I find it helpful to see things from a different perspective. Thank you for letting me see things from your point of view and why.

You out did me on the cooking. We love scallops but have never brought them camping. Steak, lobster, shrimp, salmon, and swordfish but never scallops. I enjoy seeing how exotic we can cook in the middle of nowhere over a open fire. BTW my wife has only gone on one camping trip in 10 years. her idea of roughing it is a Holiday Inn.

Dinner -

Filet Mignon
Pan Seared Scallops
Sauteed Baby Portabella and Sweet Onions
Cast Iron Caramelized Brussel Sprouts with Bacon and Thyme
Fire Baked Potatoes
Beef Stock Reduction Glaze
Bleu Cheese Stuffed Cresent Rolls drizzled with Honey and dusted with fresh thyme.

Cooked over a bed of Cherry and Hickory woods.

Yum!!

No worries, Lux Man!

yum yum looks delicious.

Thanks!

Jumbo sea scallops, my favorite. Pretty expensive, even here, near the source, looks like about $15 in that pan alone.
