Thorens TD 124 with Thorens Q-Up?

Hey Thorens TD 124 fans, is it possible to install the Thorens Q-Up on the chassis of a TD 124 since it is so curvy? Anybody ever installed one on it?

I wouldn't! I have an MKI and MKII. The previous owner installed one (different version) on the MKI and now there is a blemish in the chasis finish.

I solved the problem of lifting the arm at the end of the record by getting a Dual 1219

My is installed on a Pioneer PL-550 direct drive manual turntable.

It has a sturdy S shape metal tube tone arm.

I can't bring myself to using it on a graphite tonearm.

I have seen graphite fly rods with no visible defect shatter.

I have a Thorens TD-160 that I bought that already had one installed. I just left it on there.
