I always loved the look of the '70's Thorens models (I like the look of the '60's models too, but you get what I'm sayin'). Nice table. I like the weight (The platter-weight, that is... not the weight of the table, but hey, I like that too... Jeez, I'm all-mixed-up now... I was doing fine when I got here, and then a minute later I'm Spider from the movie "Goodfellas".... "No, I thought YOU said I was alright").

One of those pics is actually a 160 super. Note the lack of cue knob.
Honestly I kind of dig the black knobs on the 166 more than the aluminum ones on my 160. Wouldn't mind swapping a set of black knobs on my 160 to see what they look like. Might be funny with the black stripe the 160 has though.

The TD-166 MKII was the first really good table that I ever owned. I purchased mine in high-school. I still have a couple of spare wands that I have kept around long after selling that unit. Sorry, but they are not for sale as I found a TD-147 a few years ago that they could be used with.
