Hmm... AFAIK not a single jangle toon was played at Woodstock. It was cool that somebody in NYC (maybe a student at Columbia) had the inspiration to invite Sha Na Na. But no jangle. Jangle had gone into hibernation. Hendrix infamously declared "And you'll never hear jangle music again". I made that up.

You didn't last long on Indie. Not that we miss you.I don't have much patience for bands out of their eras. I focus on contemporaneous (whew) performances. Seeing "old folks" trying to recreate the past is boring at best and pathetic at worst, and most of the time the case is the latter.
