Heard this today at a friends house, it had the oval label that said Stereo, sounded amazing. Trying to get a sense of how well this UK mono compares. I think its holding up pretty well

I had a blast. I got to go to a couple of expos and my favorite shops for records, scored some good “gotta have” records. Saw stuff, hung out, drank awesome coffee….I gotta tell ya, retired life is pretty good.

OK, here I’m a bit of a snob. These releases are almost a bit better than primary Contemporary releases. I’ve got about 30 or so of the Vouge, and I’ve found them to be worth the money.

Plus there is a certain “cache” of the Vougue releases. It’s funny I’ve bought both and domestic (US) Contemporary in the UK and the Vogue Contemporary. I kinda like the Vogue a bit more. They seem heavier and when in good condition, sonically just as good if not better. That said, I’ll have to set up an A/B test on a couple.

I`m loaded with these UK-pressings. By far better sounding ( IMHO ) .
