The album was originally released in 1974, but this is the 1989 first CD pressing of Sam Hui's "Games Gambler Play". What it sounds like? A mixture of Stones-like rockers and folk ballads....also contains a cover of Paul Simon's "Mother and Child Reunion" in Cantonese (the lyrics was rewritten to describe water rationing happening in HK at that time....the video is hilarious). The album basically established Cantonese as the dominant language in Hong Kong pop music while introducing rock music with Cantonese lyrics into the mainstream. The album was so popular that that the title track was the first Chinese language track ever played by the BBC.

Lead singer/guitarist Gustavo Cerati was once listed in Rollingstone as one of the top 100 guitarists of all time. Hailing from Buenos Aires Argentina they broke many grounds and many "firsts" for any latin American band.
