I'm trying to find a metal top cover for my SA-9800. Do the SA-9800 and SA-8800 share the same cover? If not, is there another Pioneer amp that might use the same cover?
Interesting. I'm glad you were able to provide the part numbers and dimensions. If I come across a 8800 cover at the right price I might just buy it and see if it will fit the 9800.
If I end up making a reproduction of the cover it would be just as easy to make a dozen as it would to make just one. I wonder if there is a market for this? Hummmmmm.....
I am working with a shop that is able to produce these covers. My plan is to reproduce the original cover as closely as possible.
If anyone has a metal cover and is willing to help, I need measurements and photos. If someone has access to a factory drawing that would be fantastic!
If there is a AK'er in or near Denver, CO who has a cover please let me know. I would be happy to travel to your location so I can get the measurements.

a word of caution, use the PM system to only contact BlueKatt with a phone number. I understand the trust implied, but there's LOTS of BOTS crawling all over this forum, and in the control of less scrupulous people.
I would send the number by PM, and go back to the post and edit the number out.
IF for some reason you cannot edit it out, use the report button right next to the date and time field on the bottom of the post's window
to report yourself to a MOD and ask for a bit of help removing it.
Other resources inform me that BlueKatt hasn't been online here (as himself as opposed to guest) since 2015. Seven years ago.
