We will be getting that storm line around 1am. Hopefully cooling will calm them down

My first Tornado was about 17 years ago. I was drivingg my semi west out of Oklahoma city and saw a storm cloud. Drove for an hour and still didn't reach the cloud so i wisely pulled off and parked at a Truck Stop. All hell broke loose. One of the worst storms i had ever been in. It got dark and then i heard the tornado. Not much i could do except freak out. Fortunately it went past without going through the truck stop.
We were all chattering on the CB until the tornado then everyone got real quiet.
Glad you are safe.
