I'm the OP of that thread, and I'm fine with moving it here if you guys want. To me this is a borderline subject which has just as much to do with tube amp design principles in general as it does with McIntosh though.

Video doesn't work for everyone on the 'net, and with respect to G.G., getting it all in one concise entry is really sufficient for a simple explanation of something of this nature.
