I'm having difficulty understanding the difference between what these mean. What's the difference?

right, Pickering had bodies that ran multiple stylii. Different stylus shape, tracking force, compliance, etc depending on which particular one was installed but any XV-15 stylus fits any XV-15 body. You just have to set it up according to which specific stylus is installed.

It's replacing THIS stylus.
It's used in THIS cartridge.
