I have a funny (to me anyway) memory of the Mark Don & Mel album. All we had to play it on in about 1973 or so was a suitcase record player. You know the type, tubes, built in speaker, with a nickel on the tonearm...

Anyway, one day my brother and I listened to one side of the record for at least 10 minutes longer than the actual running time. It skipped in so many places at just the right places we had no idea we listened to the same sections over and over again.

:lmao: I was playing a good copy and started to wonder if it was skipping.
